Molly Yeh's Tahini Cinnamon Rolls
Because sometimes, you want something with a little more oomph than pure sugar

I had bulk Costco cream cheese to use up, so…Molly Yeh to the rescue.
I still can’t be bothered to do the math for eight or 12 slices (mine always total 16, because I like to do things by halves). The dark, springform pan cooked its four rolls way faster — to the point where they nearly burnt — than the foil pan’s 12. But I managed to make the frosting look semi-artful, the rolls didn’t completely unravel during baking, and … only one and a half cinnamon roll “penises.”
I call that an improvement. ; )
Anyway, I’ll just leave these “overnight cinnamon rolls with tahini cream frosting and pistachio rose dukkah” here. Cream cheese frosting tastes more interesting with the addition of nutty tahini than plain ole powdered sugar and vanilla.
My neighbors love me.
